Rovinj

Rovinj is often considered the most photogenic town in Istria. A walk through the charming stone streets of the old town leads up to the hilltop Church of St. Euphemia, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding islands.

While you are in Istria, we highly recommend exploring some of the region’s most beautiful places, from historic towns to unforgettable culinary experiences.

One of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world, the Arena of Pula was built between 27 BC and 68 AD. In ancient times it could host around 23,000 spectators during gladiator fights.

Brijuni is a stunning archipelago of 14 islands located just off the western coast of Istria and one of Croatia’s most beautiful national parks. It is known for its crystal-clear sea, lush Mediterranean nature and fascinating blend of history and culture.

Motovun & Truffle Hunting

Motovun is a picturesque medieval hilltop town overlooking the Mirna River valley, famous for its prized white truffles. A guided truffle hunt in the nearby forests with trained dogs and local experts is a memorable experience we highly recommend while visiting Istria.

This UNESCO World Heritage site dates back to the 6th century and is famous for its stunning Byzantine mosaics. It is one of the best preserved early Christian complexes in the Mediterranean.

Istria is one of the finest wine regions in this part of Europe, well known for its Malvasia and Teran wines as well as exceptional olive oil.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

We’re hoping for a ceremony in the sunshine! But if the weather has other plans, we’ll move things inside and keep the good vibes going — no umbrellas needed.

Is the dinner & party at the same place as the ceremony?

Yes, the whole event will take place at the same location.

What is the dress code?

Our celebration will be cocktail attire — suits, dresses, and festive flair welcome!

Is there parking onsite?

Yes

How is accommodation organized?

The list of recommended places is available above, but also feel free to book any other accommodation you like.

What's happening the day before & after the wedding?

We will organize a welcome drink on Friday before the wedding. Details to follow. Please indicate in the RSVP if you are joining.

What are the closest airports?

The closest airports are in Pula, Trieste, Ljubljana then Zagreb.

How and by when to confirm the attendance?

Please confirm your attendance at this RSVP form latest by the 1st of July.

How to get to the venue & back?

We will organize transportation to and from the venue in case you are staying in one of the recommended accommodations.

Should I take photos during the ceremony?

We organized a professional photographer for the whole event. However, you are welcome to take photos, apart from the ceremony, when you can enjoy & leave it to the professionals.

What should we get you?

Your presence is the best present! But if you are feeling extra generous, we are saving up for our honeymoon & future adventures, so a small contribution would be warmly appreciated.
